Presentation:ֱ̲'s Substantive Change Policy: Expectations for Employees

• Every September and February, the University Accreditation Liaison will deliver this presentation to the following groups: (1) President's Executive Council, (2) Academic Affairs Dean's Council, and (3) University Curriculum Committee.

• Academic deans should use this online presentation to discuss the Substantive Change Policy with program administrators in their colleges. Program faculty should consult with their academic dean before proposing a major curriculum change to ensure the change adheres to SACSCOC guidelines.

ACADEMIC ACCREDITATIONS

Many of ֱ̲'s colleges, schools, departments and programs which make up the university are accredited by specialized or professional accrediting agencies.

Effective November 8, 2022, ֱ̲ Doctor of Physical Therapy Program has been granted Candidate for Accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 3030 Potomac Ave., Suite 100, Alexandria, Virginia 22305-3085; phone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org).
