Open Graduate Assistantships for Fall 2024

Office of Instructional Technology | Moodle/Canvas Graduate Assistant is responsible for assisting in the efforts with promoting effective use of Canvas for the upcoming school year. The primary responsibility is to work directly with the Office of Instructional Technology to help support students and faculty with the use of Canvas. This position will report to the Manager of Instructional Technology. The position will be responsible for communicating effectively through email and phone as needed and understanding to some degree the instructor's and the student's perspective of Canvas. ֱ̲ Athletics | Graduate Assistant, Creative Development
The Athletics Creative Development Graduate Assistant is responsible for assisting in the athletic communication’s efforts with an emphasis on generating creative content to be used across the department. The primary responsibility is to work directly with the Director of Creative Media to generate innovative & creative content for use by ֱ̲ Athletics. This position will report to the Director of Creative Media and will have oversight by the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Communications. The position will be responsible for a variety of creative content initiatives including photo, video, graphic design and social media. ֱ̲ Athletics |Ticket Office
The ֱ̲ Ticket Office is looking for two Graduate Assistants to assist with Game Day duties such as assisting with ticket sales, ushering premium areas, set-up and take down of certain areas, helping settle customer concerns, and supporting with other tasks assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations. Additionally, the Graduate Assistants will aid in office management responsibilities such as answering the phone, will call management, and assisting fans through their purchasing experience.

Candidates should be comfortable with large crowds and be able to communicate effectively to provide high quality service to ֱ̲ Fans. Applications should be sent to the Director of Ticket Operations, Molly McCullar atmmccullar@ulm.edu.

ֱ̲ Athletics | Compliance Office
The ֱ̲ Athletics Compliance office has an opening for a graduate assistant to assist the Compliance staff with various functions of the day-to-day operations. Applications should be sent to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, David Reed at dareed@ulm.edu.

ֱ̲ Athletics | Indoor Women's Volleyball
Under the direct supervision of the Head Coach, the Indoor Women's Volleyball GA works to assist, oversee, instruct, and implement the strategies, goals, and philosophy of ֱ̲ Athletics. This person will assist the Head Coach with all aspects of recruitment, practice planning, and preparation for athletic competition. This role will also assist with travel coordination and scheduling. As a representative of the university, the Indoor Women's Volleyball GA will act in a manner that supports and encourages both the University and athletic department mission statements.
